ò   The interviewer  has seen the expressions you are using a thousand times.你所使用的表达方法考官都见过无数次了。

ò   Don’t try to sound like a cold intellectual or you’ll sound ungrammatically pompous.不要让你所采用的表达方法听上去像一个冷冰冰的知识分子，否则你的言词将显得不合语法，过于夸大。

ò   Write for understanding, not for confusions.清楚地写作，让人理解，不要让人看了糊涂。

ò   What you think is complex is probably just wrong. 你认为复杂的句式也许恰恰是错误的。

ò   Use what you feel comfortable with.使用运用自如的表达方式。

ò   Don’t try to impress the marker. You will certainly not. He or she hasn’t much time to be impressed with your essay. 别指望给评分者留下深刻印象。这是不可能的，他们根本就没有那么多时间。

ò   If a preparation school advocates using a certain style or structure then don’t use it. 不要使用应试类学校鼓吹的某种形式和结构。

ò   Your heart is more intelligent than your brain. (Has your heart ever made a mistake?) So use your heart to write the essay. 心比脑聪明（你的心出过错吗？），所以要用心写文章。

ò   Walk before you run in your essay. Play things safe and use what you are comfortable with. Do not use expressions you can’t handle yet. 跑之前先学会走，写文章也如此。应当求稳，使用能够运用自如的词句，不用没有把握的言词。

ò   Check your essay before you hand it in because chances are it is full of little bugs. 在交卷之前再检查一遍，因为你的文章很可能存在许多小问题。
